For Scientist-B (Mechanical)
The candidate must hold a Master’s degree in Physics from a recognized university or institute. And
The applicant must have one year of practical experience in the testing/calibration of engineering materials/products or precise measurement/metrology in a recognized laboratory/institute. OR
The applicant must hold a Bachelor of Engineering or a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering/Metallurgical Engineering from a reputable university or institute. And
The applicant must have two years of hands-on experience testing/calibrating engineering materials/products or doing precise measurements/metrology in a recognized laboratory/institute.
For Anthropologists (Physical Anthropology Division)
The candidate must hold a Master’s degree in Anthropology from a recognized university, with at least 50% of the papers in Physical Anthropology or Biological Anthropology in the final year examination.
Experience:
The applicant must have three years of research experience in anthropology.
For Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Anesthesiology)
The candidate must hold a recognized MBBS degree qualification listed in the First Schedule, Second Schedule, or Part II of the Third Schedule (excluding licentiate qualifications) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational credentials listed in Part II of the Third Schedule must additionally meet the requirements outlined in Subsection (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
The candidate must hold a Post-graduate Degree in the relevant Speciality or Super-speciality listed in Section A of Schedule VI from a recognized teaching institute, i.e., Doctor of Medicine (Anaesthesiology), Master of Surgery (Anaesthesiology), or Diplomate National Board (Anaesthesiology).
Experience:
Following the completion of the first Post-graduate degree, the candidate must have at least three years of teaching experience as a Senior Resident, Tutor, Demonstrator, Registrar, Assistant Professor, or Lecturer in the relevant Speciality or Super-speciality in a recognized teaching institution.

Selection Process for UPSC RECRUITMENT 2024
Recruitment Test (RT) and interview results will be used to decide UPSC Recruitment 2024 selection. The minimal level of appropriateness for each category in interviews, regardless of whether the selection is made only through interviews or through recruitment tests and interviews, will be 50 marks for UR/EWS, 45 marks for OBC, and 40 marks for SC/ST/PwBD, out of a total of 100 marks for interviews.
