1. TNPSC Group 1 Service Prelims Exam comprises of one Paper with 200 objective-type questions worth 1.5 marks each.
2. The preliminary test lasts three hours.
3. There would be no penalty marks for erroneous answers.
4. TNPSC Group 1 Service Prelims is a qualifying exam, and scores will not be considered in the merit list.
5. The Preliminary Exam will be conducted in both English and Telugu.
