- TNPSC Group 1 Service Prelims Exam comprises of one Paper with 200 objective-type questions worth 1.5 marks each.
- The preliminary test lasts three hours.
- There would be no penalty marks for erroneous answers.
- TNPSC Group 1 Service Prelims is a qualifying exam, and scores will not be considered in the merit list.
- The Preliminary Exam will be conducted in both English and Telugu.
