Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Design and Develop Scalable Backend Systems:

• Create robust and scalable backend systems that can handle high volumes of transactions and data.

Optimize System Performance and Reliability:

• Enhance the performance and reliability of existing systems to ensure seamless customer experiences.

Mentor Junior Engineers:

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, helping them grow and improve their skills.

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:

• Work closely with product managers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Work Experience:

3-5 years of backend development experience.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in at least one backend language (Java, Python, Ruby on Rails).

Advanced proficiency in backend development with either Java EE frameworks, including experience with Spring MVC, or Hibernate.

Experience designing and implementing RESTful services, focusing on scalability and reliability, using Java.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL).

Strong understanding of database design, including SQL and NoSQL databases, and experience with ORM tools.

Mentorship and Collaboration:

Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews and design discussions.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Large-Scale Systems:

Experience with large-scale, high-performance systems.

Domain Knowledge:

Knowledge of the payment processing industry and relevant regulations.

Cloud Platform Proficiency:

Additional experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Open-Source Contributions:

Contributions to open-source projects.
