Eligibility Criteria for MoEFCC Recruitment 2024

Educational Qualification

Scientific Consultant Grade – II:

Essential: Master’s degree from a recognized institution in Environmental Sciences, Climate Change or related fields OR B.Tech. in Environmental Engineering or related fields.

Desirable: M.Phil., M.Sc., PhD, additional qualifications, research experience, published papers and post qualification experience in the relevant field would be preferred.

Experience:

• Relevant experience (postqualification) in climate change and related fields; including experience in GHG accounting, GHG emission inventory development, and reporting.

Age Limit

Scientific Consultant Grade – II:

• Upper age limit: 45 years

Salary Range

Scientific Consultant Grade – II:

• Renumeration per month: INR 1,20,000/-

Selection Process

• Scrutinized and Shortlisted by the UNDP
