Education Qualification for IIT Madras Recruitment 2024

Technical officer

M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical, Computer Science, IT, ECE, or EE with five years of relevant experience and at least 55% of the possible marks from an accredited university or institute, or an equivalent CGPA. From a recognized university or institute with eight years of relevant experience and a B.E., B.Tech, M.Sc., or MCA in Computer Science, IT, ECE, EE, or Mechanical with at least 55% of the possible points, or an equivalent CGPA.

Junior Technical Superintendent

A minimum of 60% in Biology, Life Science, Chemistry, Computer Science, IT, ECE, E&l, EE, or Mechanical with five years of related experience, or an equivalent CGPA from an accredited university or institution, is required for the B.E., B.Tech, M.Sc., or MCA studies.

Age Limit for IIT Madras Recruitment 2024

Technical Officer: 45 years
Junior Technical Superintendent: 32 Years

Relaxation of Upper age limit

• Age restrictions of up to five years for applicants from SC/ST and up to three years for those from OBC-NCL, but only for positions designated for them.
• Age relaxation for PwDs and ex-servicemen in accordance with Indian government regulations.
