Applications for Walk-IN roles are being accepted by the ICMR-National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (NIRT) from eligible and Interested candidates to fill 25 vacancies in the following areas: Project Research Scientist I (Medical), Project Consultant, Project Technical Support I/II/III, Project Data Entry Operator (DEO) Grade B, and Senior Project Assistant.

Eligibility criteria for ICMR-NIRT Recruitment 2024

Project Research Scientist I (Medical):

Candidates who have completed their MBBS are required.

Project Consultant (data Manager):

A master's degree in computer applications, information technology, or computer science from a recognized institution.    [or] BE/B.Tech in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Technology, or Information Technology from a recognized institution/university, with two years of experience in related programming or information systems in government, autonomous. PSU, etc., recognized organizations.

Project Technical Support III (Senior Technical Assistant)

Three years of graduate study in Life Sciences/Clinical and Para-Clinical Sciences (including Nursing and Allied courses) and three years of experience.
Postgraduate in Life Sciences/Clinical and Paraclinical Sciences (includes Nursing and Allied degrees).

Project Technical Support III (Medical Social Worker)

Three years of graduate study in social science, social work, sociology, medical sociology, psychology, or anthropology, as well as three years of work experience.    [or] A postgraduate degree in Social Science, Social Work, Sociology, Medical Sociology, Psychology, or Anthropology.

Project Tech Support III (Field Investigator):

Graduate in Life Sciences/Clinical and ParaClinical Sciences (including Nursing and Allied courses) with three years of experience [or]
Postgraduate in Life Sciences/Clinical and Paraclinical Sciences (includes Nursing and Allied degrees).

Project technical support II (laboratory technician):

12th in Science + Diploma (MLT/DMLT) + Five Years of Experience in Relevant Subject or Field

Project Tech Support II (X-Ray Technician):

12th grade science + diploma (radiology/radiography/image technology) + five years of experience in a related area or field.

Project Tech Support I (Health Assistant):

10th + Diploma (MLT/DMLT/Diploma in Nursing/Para clinical courses in Health Assistant, Diploma in Biomedical Sciences) + Two Years of Experience in Relevant Subject/Field

Project Data Entry Operator (DEO), Grade B

Intermediate or 12th grade pass in science from a recognized board with DOEACC 'A' level from a recognized institute, as well as two years of experience in EDP work in a government, autonomous, PSU, or other recognized entity.
A speed test of at least 8000 key depressions per hour (kph) on a computer

Senior Project Assistant(UDC):

Within five years, complete the 12th grade or equivalent from a recognized board.
Experience in administrative tasks.   [or]
Graduate in any discipline with at least two years of administrative experience.
A computer speed test with at least 8000 key depressions per hour (kph).
