Selection Process for HPPSC AE (Civil) Recruitment 2024:
Candidates will be chosen through a screening/preliminary test and a personality test.
Selection for posts/services when no selection method is provided in the relevant announced recruiting and promotion regulations shall be made in accordance with the following procedure:
(i) Where there are just a few vacancies to fill and the ratio of eligible applicants to advertised posts is less than thirteen, except for the position of Assistant Professor (College Cadre), candidates will be invited directly for a personality test, after which all recruiting procedures will be established.
(ii) In all other situations, the Commission will conduct the applicants in two sessions on the same day, with two types of written papers/examinations followed by a personality test in the following format.

How to Apply for HPPSC AE (Civil) Recruitment 2024:
Candidates must apply online exclusively through the www.hppsc.hp.gov.in website.
After successfully paying the specified cost and submitting the online application form, the system-generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will show on the computer screen. Candidates should print it for future correspondence. All verification will be completed in due course.
Candidates uploaded the following documents to the OTRS Portal:
i) Matriculation certificate as evidence of age.
ii) Degree certificate with all-year mark sheet / aggregated mark sheet to support educational qualification.
iii) Experience Certificate(s) as needed.
iv) Valid class certificate(s) supporting their qualification, if applicable, such as S.C., S.T., O.B.C., E.W.S., Ex-Serviceman (including Discharge Book), Ward of Ex-Servicemen, WFF Benchmark Persons with Disabilities, and so on. All of these certifications should be supported by an undertaking, where applicable, in the form required by the Government of Himachal Pradesh.
v) A genuine Himachali certificate in the case of reserved category applicants.
vi) Valid EWS/BPL Certificate (Candidates applying under the category of EWS must present either a “Income and Assets Certificate” or a valid BPLCertificate countersigned by B.D.O. and a Non-SC/ST/OBC certificate issued by a Competent Authority in the specified manner.
vii) Ex-Serviceman Discharge Certificate/Service Book (Candidates who are ex-servicemen from Himachal Pradesh must provide their discharge certificate/service book as well as full information of their P.P.O.
