Eligibility Criteria for Cordite Factory Aruvankadu Recruitment 2025

Educational Qualification

Essential:

• Matriculation.

• NAC / NTC issued by NCTVT (now NCVT) in AOCP Trade, completed the course from a government/private organization with government affiliation, or from Government ITI.

Desirable:

• Possessing Ordnance Factories training or experience in manufacturing and handling military explosives and ammunitions.

Note:

• Only candidates possessing National Apprenticeship Certificate or National Trade Certificate issued by the National Council for Training in Vocational Trades – NCTVT (now NCVT – National Council for Vocational Training) in the AOCP TRADE ONLY will be accepted as the qualification.

Age Limit

• The upper age limit is determined as of the last date of receipt of applications, which should be between 18 and 35 years for General Candidates.

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 Years (only in respect of the post reserved for SC/ST)

• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years (only in respect of the post reserved for OBC)

• Ex-Servicemen (Ex-SM): Period of Military Service + 3 Years

Salary Range

• Rs. 19,900 + DA

Selection Process

• Selection will be based on the marks scored in the NCTVT and Trade Test/Practical Test, in order of merit.

• The cutoff percentage for calling candidates for the Trade Test will be decided by the factory based on the total marks secured in the NCTVT.

• A merit list will be prepared based on the combined marks secured in the NCTVT Exam and Trade Test/Practical Test.

  • Weightage: NCTVT Exam - 80%, Trade Test/Practical Test - 20%

• Candidates qualifying in the NCTVT and Trade Test/Practical Test will be called for Document Verification in the order of merit.

  • The number of candidates called for Document Verification will be limited to the number of posts notified (Discipline/Category wise).
