Eligibility Criteria for AHVD Assam Recruitment 2025

Educational Qualification

Veterinary Science Training: Candidates must have passed the examination in elementary knowledge of Veterinary Science (One Year Training Course) from the recognized “School of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry” established by the Government of Assam at Ghungoor, Silchar.

HSSLC Qualification: Candidates must have passed the HSSLC (Science) Examination with Biology as a subject.

Relevant Rule: This requirement is as per Rule 8 of “The Assam Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Subordinate Service Rules, 2002”.

Age Limit

Age Requirement:

• Minimum age: 18 years as of 01/01/2022

• Maximum age: 40 years as of 01/01/2025

Age Relaxation:

• 5 years for SC/ST candidates

• 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates

Proof of Age:

• Based on HSLC Certificates/HSLC Admit Cards/Certificates from a recognized Board/Council

• No other documents accepted as proof of age

Salary Range

• Pay Band-2 Range: ₹14,000 to ₹70,000

• Grade Pay: ₹6,200

• Additional Allowances: Other allowances that may be provided as applicable.

Selection Process

Physical Standard:

• Candidates must be of sound health both mentally and physically.
